The past few weeks have been full of packing up dozens of sorority t-shirts, Lilly Pulitzer dresses and dishware for the new house. This has been a daunting task, to say the least. Trying to fit all of my clothes, 20 pairs of Sperry Topsiders and my summer crafts into my Ford Escape is going to be very difficult. So in order to pack in the most efficient way possible, I've decided to try using SpaceBags by Ziploc.
That picture does not lie, SpaceBags are miracles at saving space! I was able to fit a queen size duvet, duvet cover (Pottery Barn Kids), quilt (Lilly Pulitzer for Garnet Hill), a sheet set, and a pillow in one XL SpaceBag!
In addition to the SpaceBags, I'm using the traditional method of shoving things into bags and small spaces in my trunk. I'll let you know how this move goes! Until then, I'm going to enjoy my last few days at home for the summer and keep shopping for more things I (don't) need for my new house!
